A trip that will always be remembered..

We were a group of nine, sitting in front of the beach and reminiscing our journey and experiences at our workplace. That is what we had in common. Yes, we were colleagues who hadn’t met in two years because of the pandemic.

Surprisingly, our catch up in Goa didn’t feel as formal and work-like as I suspected. It was breezy and comfortable. It felt like meeting long lost friends, to be honest. Seven of us were from Bangalore and two of our colleagues were from Mumbai. But I’d like to remember ‘us’ from Goa for those two days.

We started from Bangalore at around 2am and the drive was amazing. The roads being explicitly empty at that point in time. We stopped at around 7.30am close to a river with greenery all around. It was a beautiful spot for our morning snack.

We reached Goa at 11.30am and checked-in to our rooms. The resort was right on the beach and we had access to a cute little shack. The rooms were rustic and compact. For two whole days, we didn’t go out of the resort. We enjoyed the oceanic views, clicked a lot of photos, drank all our happy beverages (just what I like to call them :)), played music like its the end of the world, danced a lot, sang a lot, exchanged a lot of paranormal experiences and of course played at the beach. We didn’t know how we passed our time for those two days. And when it was time to head back, all of us were a little blue. But as they say; all good things must come to an end.
